This is achieved through Community Support and Emergency Relief, Thrift Shop engagement, and small groups. The role you could play We are currently seeking for a values-driven and proactive administration support officer. The role provides administrative and operational support to the TSA Corps across an assigned area. This support is consistent with TSA policy, procedures, systems, and processes and has a focus on volunteer resourcing and finance and business administration. As a shared service role across the Corps in their area, the role will work with each Corps on their administrative and compliance priorities in line with each Corps local mission delivery goals. This comes along with Higher level responsibilities; a key focus of the role is to develop and implement processes and workflows that can be replicated and performed effectively across all Corps. This is a broad all-rounder role and would suit a creative business administration generalist, that has an interest in volunteer recruitment and compliance, WHS, finance processes and administration. You will successfullyCreate advertisements for volunteer roles for advertisement through social media, posters, flyers etc.Support Corps Officers with administration during recruitment and onboarding within WorkdayAssist with the onboarding arrangements for new employeesProvide administrative support to Corps related to WHS risk assessments for programs/activities and organising requirements identified through WHS audits or investigationsInvestigate and resolve ongoing IT/ Payroll and Finance matters which affect Corps in collaboration with internal stakeholders where requiredSupport Corps Officers in reviewing and understanding the monthly operating statementsSupport and participate in continuous improvement activities related to corps administration in consultation with the Divisional team / AOs and the Business Administration Portfolio and other relevant TSA portfoliosAssist in the identification and training of local personnel to fulfill these duties going forwardThis is a full-time position, based in Northern NSW, reporting to DHQ NSW/ACT. Salary and conditions are in accordance with Clerks Private Sector L3. You will haveGeneralist administration experience with intermediate computer skills across a range of softwareExperience in/desire to learn WorkdayData entry & electronic record keeping expertise1-2 years in customer service essential and has a professional and friendly demeanourThe ability to work independently from remote sitesA National Criminal History CheckRelevant Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People registration (as required)Current Drivers Licence and the ability to travel state-wideThe Salvation Army is subject to public health orders.
