A prestigious harbourside neighbourhood within walking distance of the city centre. Because of the outstanding parks and recreation facilities, the suburb attracts a lot of friendly retirees as well as a lot of young families. Because the peninsula is tiny, most properties have harbour views to the north or west, or easterly views across Double Bay, and the walk down Darling Point Road from Richie's Cafe to the ferry is beautiful. Both Elizabeth Bay and Potts Point have excellent dining alternatives. Edgecliff has all you need, including a 5-minute train ride to the city. In the centre of the park, there is a cafe, and near the d'Albora Marina, there is a restaurant.
Edgecliff is a tiny neighbourhood in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, in the Australian state of New South Wales. Public transportation is well served. There is a bus interchange, and it is part of the Eastern Suburbs Railway. The Edgecliff Eastpoint shopping centre is situated above the underground railway station and below the bus interchange. Edgecliff is home to the prominent Ascham School, which was founded in 1886 and is one of Australia's oldest girls' institutions. Edgecliff is a pleasant suburb with many amenities such as dining alternatives, Internet connection, pest-free living, public transportation, and decent schools.
