Yanchep - Golf Estate

Yanchep Golf Estate is a large residential estate in Perth's north-west corridor, located within the Yanchep City Local Structure Plan region. It has views over nearby fairways and is immediately close to the current Sun City golf club, from which it gets its name. In 2010, it was purchased by a Peet development company. Yandina

Yandina 4561, an essential hub in central Queensland, is home to one of the country's largest coal reserves. Much attention is given to the coal industry in Yandina. The area is also a prominent service centre with good schools, hospitals, shopping centres, sporting venues, and other amenities. The town became famous after being featured in the popular television series Underbelly: Infanticide. In addition to the coal industry, tourism is essential to the local economy. Popular activities include bushwalking, fishing, horse riding, canoeing, cycling, golfing, swimming, diving, and camping. The Yandina railway station provides connections to Brisbane, Ipswich, and Cairns, and buses connect Yandina to Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Hervey Bay, Innisfail, and Mount Isa.

Yangebup

Yangebup 6164 is a suburb in the southern region of Perth under the city of Cockburn. Its proximity to Lake Yangebup inspired the name of this tranquil suburb. However, that’s not all it has going for it. It has an elevated hill area with character homes perched on what people refer to as the newer Yangebup. This area oversees the city and delivers lovely views of the sunrise and even the seaside. In the lower regions, stunning heritage-style mansions with scenic lawns and the pre-historic ambience make the area even more sought after. Even more, a cluster of shops, restaurants, and cafes in the commercial area gives residents a variety of standard options to consider.

Yankalilla

Yankalilla is a historical, agricultural town snuggled in the Bungala River valley. Surrounded by the southern Mount Lofty Ranges, it is only a couple of hours' drive south of Adelaide. Yankalilla 5203 features several community amenities, including education, health, and sporting facilities. The town's economy is agriculture, tourism, and industry. Yankalilla hosts several events annually, including the Easter Art Show, Yankalilla Agricultural show, and New Year's Eve Pageant.

Yaroomba/ Mount Coolum

Mount Coolum is a coastal suburb laid-back beach town on the Sunshine Coast. Coolum Beach offers the best of relaxed living and natural beauty. With many walking tracks, a selection of popular cafes and eateries, and your choice of white, sandy beaches, this suburb is popular with holidaymakers and loved by locals. Mount Coolum has a one-of-a-kind Mobile library service, operated by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council. Mount Coolum is a glorious mountain that provides a unique backdrop for all who drive into and out of Coolum. The Mount Coolum National Park offers a 1.6-kilometer bush walk to the top of the mountain. It is perfect for superb views of the ocean and the sunshine coast. Coolum Main Beach is the most popular spot directly opposite Coolum’s cafes and shops. It is also a good place for surfing, beach walking, and several other beach sports.

Yarra Glen

Yarra Glen 3775 is a town in Victoria situated about 40 km northeast of Melbourne's central area. It's part of the Shire of Yarra Ranges local government area and has been regarded by some as one of Victoria's best and safest suburbs. It may be slightly up there regarding the cost of living and house prices. Still, just like every other well-valued and pricey possession, it's worth it. For millenials and professionals that depend on data-driven gadgets and devices, there's excellent internet connection in the town, plus, traffic is minimal. Plus, there's less of the whole 'GMO' or processed foods thanks to the markets and stores that promise farm-fresh produce. You'll also find some fantastic distilleries, orchards, restaurants, wineries, and breweries within the suburb.

Yarra Junction

Yarra Junction 3797 is a town in Victoria known for its exceptional location between the old junction of timber tramways and the main rail line. It’s a small town brimming with activities for outdoor lovers and adventurers. It’s not short of dining, educational, service, and recreational amenities and is even known as the ‘functional hub’ of the Upper Yarra Valley. The Yarra Junction railway station transports residents in and out of the town, museum, schools, and colleges. Preschool facilities and after-school care centres for little learners are readily available within the city. You’ll also find a significant supermarket outlet in the commercial area and budding business and convenience stores. The Yarra Junction is a beautiful area for families, professionals, singles, commuters, and retirees, thanks to the surrounding mountains, riverside views, and lovely country towns.

Yarrabilba

Yarrabilba 4207 is a prominent locality in the City of Logan that boasts peaceful surroundings and a vibrant community. In 2016, it had over 3,500 people, and the suburb has continued to grow steadily. Additionally, the area is home to seven neighbourhoods; The retreat, Oka Leaf, Sunrise Crossing, Vista, Wickam Rise, Sandstone Ridge, and The Avenues. One of the suburb's main attractions, the Darlington Parklands, sits between the Oak Leaf and Vista neighbourhoods. This significant Park features a primary fun zone with marine activities, a shallow pool for kids, a waterpark, playgrounds, sports ovals, barbeque spots, and an outdoor gym. Yarrabilba has a good variety of healthy and indulgent cuisines and freshly sourced local produce in the markets.

Yarragon

Located 15 kilometres southeast of Melbourne's CBD, Yarragon is a thriving regional town with a high quality of life. Yarragon sits at the Mornington Peninsula, Frankston South, and Dromana crossroads. Its location is not far from the Great Ocean Road and Ballarat, making it a beautiful destination for families. Yarragon was initially developed for farming purposes by Henry Bolte, who built the original Yarragon homestead in 1839. Today, the town retains its rural charm, with many shops, cafes, and restaurants located throughout the main streets. It was declared a heritage precinct in 2006. Yarragon has always been known for its strong family values, so if you are planning to relocate to this picturesque town, bring the whole family!

Yarralumla

Yarralumla 2600 is a large Canberra suburb located in the country's capital. This modern inner south suburb has hosted many diplomatic missions, only 3.5 km southwest of Canberra and spanning from the southwest bank of Lake Burley Griffin to Commonwealth Avenue. It has many notable locations, including Albert Hall, Lennox Gardens, and Hotel Canberra. The Parliament House and The Lodge are just a few km off its boundaries and happen to be one of the region's most prestigious and affluent suburbs. There's a lot of diversity and excellent connectivity. Still, the wide leafy streets, central location, rich clubs, and pristine environment also comes with a pricey tag.

Yarraville

Yarraville 3013 is a Melbourne suburb in Australia's inner west. Yarraville, located 6 kilometres west of the CBD, is ideal for families, pets, and children. The easily accessible train station, a busy village centre, is packed with lovely shops and cafes. Beautiful heritage residences, blossoming flowers, and green trees line the surrounding streets. Durther amenities include The Sun Theatre, a gorgeous art deco cinema with a plethora of excellent little theatres to choose from, and The Cornershop, a local cafe with a delightful community and a terrific assortment of food and drinks. The Yarraville Swim Centre, and the Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre, Maribyrnong, provide swimming facilities for Yarraville locals. Yoga, gym facilities, numerous sporting clubs, and other recreational activities are available at the pool centre.

Yarrawarrah

Yarrawarrah 2233 is a suburb in southern Sydney, traditionally inhabited by the Tharawal people. The word "Yarrawarrah" means "mountain ash." Yarrawarrah is also the name of a ridge in the area between Heathcote and Waterfall. Yarrawarrah has a small shopping village with a landmark windmill containing a medical practice, a pharmacy, a hair salon, Italian and Chinese restaurants, and a convenience store. Yarrawarrah has excellent natural features and amenities perfect for sports and recreational activities, like the Royal National Park and the many pockets of bushland. The hilly suburb stretches to the valley of Engadine, with several fire trailheads perfect for cycling, running, or walking. These include Turrella and Fairy Creek. Yarrawarrah has two sporting ovals, the old Bush Road Oval and Yarrawarrah Reserve on Giles Street and Wheatley Road.

Yarrawonga Park

Yarrawonga Park 2264 is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia, situated on a peninsula east of Morisset on Lake Macquarie's western shore. Yarrawonga Park is a wonderful leafy area that shares the same bay as Bonnells Bay and is undoubtedly one of Lake Macquarie's most attractive sites. It is a portion of the Lake Macquarie Peninsula nearest to Sydney and only 50 minutes from Newcastle, and it is inexpensive, well-resourced, and has good schools.

Yass

Situated in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, Yass is renowned for its peaceful rural lifestyle, close to Canberra. The name appears to have been derived from an Aboriginal word, "Yarrh", said to mean 'running water’. The community is made up of eight diverse towns and villages: Binalong, Bookham, Bowning, Gundaroo, Murrumbateman, Sutton, Wallaroo, Wee Jasper and Yass. It also has a number of heritage-listed sites which include The Yass post office, Yass junction railway station, Yass Town rail bridge over the Yass River, Yass town Railway station and Marchmont: Cooma cottage. Yass has a Good mix of shopping and cafes, a very frosty winter and hot dry summer. So you need good climate control.

Yatalunga

Encapsulating suburbs such as Avoca Beach, Bensville, and Bouddi, 2251 is a wonderfully situated area of Australia with close links to the city of Sydney. Many of 2251’s suburbs, including Bouddi, surround Bouddi National Park, which is home to camping opportunities, swimming spots, and ample opportunity to engage in fishing. Other suburbs like Bensville are near large bodies of water, such as a popular fishing spot. 2251 is also close to numerous coastal beaches that offer a relaxing retreat!
